The talasmin quest was tedious in the RS gold hunter part. The maze part of the hunt was simple because of the sals guide. It was also very enjoyable. The Seer Peer was boring, but i was happy to escape his home.

While it's not the strongest but the strength benefit is higher than the iron scimitar and makes it a powerful one-attack weapon for those who don't have the iron scimitar. It is also the second-best holiday weapon after the scythe. This is what does it mean? Does jagex want to start creating items that are semi-functional for the holidays? They've already suggested that by saying "To some extent, I think us developers (and players) have to acknowledge that the holiday items won't ever be the most frequently used objects in the game, but that doesn't mean they should be written-off as useless." This gives new players an incentive to complete the events during the holidays. When I first started runescape I couldn't find any reason to go to the events in easter. The clothes (made from mammoth fur) would be degradeable making crafters extremely important and help keep the things flowing.
