The question is whether this is appropriate behavior. It is a place in the wilderness in a OSRS gold game which wants to promote cooperation and clans. As Jagex anticipated/encouraged, because the racketeering of it doesn't necessarily mean the clans are not behaving. I think this view is correct. It's racketeering... in a video game. A MMO for that matter, which is all about interaction and cooperation with other individuals. The problem isn't rev caves. It is people who believe it is okay to buy and market gp for actual money which is against the rules.
I think it's funny men and women are acting like you're wanting players charged for racketeering. I think people forget IRL laws are in place because things like racketeering are negative acts that impact people in ways. No, nobody will arrest you to do so in RuneScape. That does not mean it is a benign scheme. Yeah it was rather strange but I guess that my tone kinda seemed like I was calling each of these people scum. I think overall it's somewhat beneficial for RuneScape because its better than clans just up locking average players out of the rev caves and gives people reasons to roam the seas and keep the rev PvMers in check thus that there arent like 50 people on each world and just further destroy the market for all the rev drops.Whenever the last ever player logs into RuneScape
I'm hoping for this as well. Having the capability to download our very own player file alongside RuneScape will be amazing. I would, if I had to pay $30 or something just to do this. Makes me wonder if we had accounts stored to our personal computer, would we be in a position to multilog? Just as I am sure everyone here would like this, I am highly doubtful it would ever happen, considering they've never done anything like this for any of their other deceased games, not even adventures that could have easily been played offline. Additionally, releasing it such as that will give rise to servers that are private they would need to go after and shut down since they have the IP for RuneScape even when it expires; it is still their work that is copyrighted.
The way for it to be playable as a solo experience without a huge amount of spoofing the server, operating both locally and reworking would be to package server and the client calls to create them local. That means, they'd essentially be giving off of the server code. Anticheat makes no sense of something that would theoretically be an offline solo rs gold 2107 game.we're also now residing in an era where there's a big push towards historical game archival that shows no sign of slowing. By the time either version of RuneScape is shut down, maintaining MMOs that are dead in forms might well be trivial.
