Madden 22 is available in three variations: Standard, MVP, and Dynasty. Every upgraded edition comes with Madden 22 coins extra perks, which is why they're more expensive. We'll discuss exactly what you'll find in each edition down below (all benefits are available only when you the pre-order).

You can get the Standard Edition if you do not play Madden Ultimate Team (MUT). There are minor franchise bonuses in the upgraded editions, only MUT players will truly be able to benefit from upgrading editions.

After fans hit the breaking point in the last year because of the lack of updates to franchise mode, EA Sports finally listened and implemented some changes. EA Sports promises "more detailed staff management and skill tree progression systems, along with a complete weekly game strategy that is integrated into your gameplan" in franchise mode for Madden 22. EA Sports also promises "live service updates," meaning franchise mode will be upgraded throughout the year. EA Sports already has one expected to be released in September, along with an update to player prospecting.

Madden 22 launched the Yard last year, and it will be back with some enhancements. This year's version will have new locations and a new ranking mode. EA Sports has made what was once called Superstar Mode Face of the Franchise. I personally was disappointed by Madden 22's Face of the Franchise, however EA Sports promises "more customization" in this year's version, which will hopefully improve it.

Face of the Franchise used to be an experience that focussed on the quarterback. But EA Sports now allows users to play as a wide receiver, a running back or a linebacker, in Madden 22. The game will bring back memories of college moments, attend the NFL Draft, and buy mut coins then you'll play every single game in your first season.
