It was the same during the first two days of playing WoW. I was still in the WoW mindset of "blast blast blast fast rapid" but I was tired and WOW TBC Classic Gold happened to be in appropriate place at the right moment. Now I usually have my last few minutes on the internet walking around Limsa looking at the gorgeous looks and enjoying the energy. I am constantly asked to attend the events that take place during the weekends, and I'd suggest giving that also a go!
It's still fun to look at the cool mounts and the gear sets don't get me wrong. But that's all it is anymore. There was a lot more life in cata than before. There was plenty of activity within the city. People would chat or play with their toys. There's silence now and naked goblins attempting to force people to make death rolls.
This is what I was looking for from any MMO I've played. It's exactly what I was seeking in WoW. There's a lack of interaction with players and no community. I've always wanted to play games to build community, but they've always failed. I'm only level 18, I haven't left my starting city yet, but I'm thrilled. I'm eager to go into the big cities with thousands of people!
I attended the concert in Ul adventure guild for the first 20 minutes of the game. The concert captivated me, even though it is the same program that bards run a month later. It was incredible. Also, Gridania hosted a random queen-themed concert in which 3 bards played queen songs for an entire hour.
This is definitely something FFXIV is a master in. If I don't feel like doing something in the game, but do not want it to end, or I am eating dinner and waiting to go back to the queue I'll make my way over to cheap Burning Crusade Classic Gold Limsa because there is always something going on.
