There will be three types of players on staff that are eligible to hire that include coordinators, head coaches, and players. Managers can improve their staff by accruing "staff points," that can be earned through achieving weekly goals. All of this will be available via a brand-new franchise hub that comes with a lot of improvements and updates in quality-of-life.
EA claims that a new Scouting mode will be added to the game starting in September as post-launch content. EA claims the enhanced system will allow players to find new talent through regional and national scouts. To make the game more realistic prospects will also be moved from one list of draft candidates throughout the season according to their achievements.
EA calls the weekly strategy feature the central feature of Madden NFL 22 Franchise Mode.
