The major disappointment is villager dialog and personality

I believe ACNH had enough time to make it even better considering that they began making it in 2012 and postponed the launch from June 2019 to March 2020. I played the game a lot and while I really like the capacity of it but I believe that the game is sloppily made and predatory because they pushed greatly for people to find online subscriptions (such as your island is locked on particular colours, if I need something pink I gotta commerce ) and secured items and lately villagers behind a paywall (you gotta purchase amiboos for Sanrio villagers and things ).
The major disappointment is villager dialog and personality, they are basically identical to each other based on personality type and hobby and although some increase on you it's still very underwhelming. In addition, I believe"Free updates" is a bizarre flex because it implies that we're lucky we do not need to cover things which honestly should have been there from the beginning (like more design slots and storage expansions).

I agree wholeheartedly about the dearth of conversation out of villagers. For a game where the primary"content" revolves around creating a little town in your island, the residents want more love. It is a massive letdown for every villager of the exact same personality type to essentially say the specific same number of lines to you.
