God I love that the OSRS mods, certain they are not perfect either but they atleast communicate, play their own game and work on it with complete enthusiasm whereas most of the runescape 3 gold are essentially just after rapid money and don't even play nor care for their particular games health. RS3 mods are only after their monthly wage, no'fast money' lmao, which goes to the shareholders.

I would not state the RS3 Mods are only after quick cash. From what I have seen, the majority of the mods you will find great and on par with the individuals in the OSRS Team. It's more that the previous higher-ups put MTX into Runescape and once Runescape becomes built around that, it's tough to return. I am not even sure if the current management likes the state of RS3, but it would not be great business-wise to ax a major source of revenue. Even if the recent investors and such aren't pushing for much more MTX, I doubt they would be happy to have profits go down.

A whole lot of these RS3 mods are fairly clearly enthusiastic and care about Runescape. The issue isn't the mods it is the direction and higher ups, who more than likely only care for profit. They don't give a crap what the mods and community need to say about the condition of Runescape when their paperwork is telling them that what they're doing is earning them more gain than ever before.I know a great deal of people still playing it and they are pretty much all hardcore PvMers, also it is not so much they"defend it" (many of them speak about how rubbish the state of Runescape is all the time) it is more that it simply doesn't impede on their pleasure of Runescape much. Ontop of that there is not any games offering the exact same PvM experience so they're kind of stuck.

Beautiful to view runescape praising OSRS in some manner. Speaking for myself just as an RS3 participant that follows OSRS just through some YouTubers, it's just penis envy in videogame form. The community as a whole is frustrated with Jagex and the sole core bands that remain are oldfucks that are way too deep in their addiction or sunk cost fallacy to stop Runescape and individuals that are fine with the direction Runescape has been accepted in.

Our"major" update this week was this MTX building thing and a statement for a livestream where they'd reveal some"powerful things". This tweet makes it sound like there was real content in those patch notes also. As an RS3 participant, what do you believe it does better than OSRS? I like the pursuit storylines we have and a number of the endgame pvm is very well-designed. In addition, I believe invention was a creative solution to combat item inflation.

I agree with you. Supervisors and quests in RS3 are very large quality. Speaking as a former RS3 participant who made the leap. I hope RS3's content won't be overlooked due to the mtx greed. I really don't play RS3 myself, could you elaborate on the endgame articles? Does RS3 work in the same way buy OSRS gold does with the tick system? Would be interested to see how end-game bosses have been in RS3, any very bosses you may recommend? I will check a movie of how it's done.
