Blizzard has teased Diablo 4 expansions by comparing it to only the first chapter of a book with a big story. We knew that Diablo IV Gold, for example Diablo installations, Diablo 4 will probably get expansions. In a new interview with Australian gaming website Ausgamers, Game Director Luis Barriga and Art Director John Mueller, the duo talked about the introduction of Lilith and how the team is treating her, rather than Diablo, as a key role in the very first part of a significant story that the team intends to inform for a lengthier time period.
There's a rich backstory found in novels and lore novels, so we decided to look closer in the creation myth. We felt that we have fought Diablo before, and Diablo consistently comes back -- so, it was a case of, what other bullets do we now have on the table just lying about."
Based on Art Director John Mueller, there's are lots of famous and new characters that could be introduced into Diablo 4 in the future diluting expansions that revolve around antagonists and other characters. "Diablo IV is like the very first chapter of a book," the art manager said. "we would like to tell a large story and we want to inform that, hopefully, for a lengthy time. Treating this like the first chapter of Lilith and a book as a key character in this narrative, it feels great knowing that there are all these other characters that could come back in the future. Or, new personalities we have not seen before."
"Additionally, it changes up the formula," he added, thereby noting that the game's main villain, Diablo, hasn't been banished for eternity. "At Reaper of Souls if you go up against Diablo, after playing to max level - it's a struggle that is almost like a like a small speed bump. Malthael became the boss. It's also, what if we do not bring him back right away? And instead, take some time to explore a few of the other characters "
According to Blizzard, the story Xbox One PS4, and PC will be ambitious. In fact, the developer compares it to buy Diablo 4 Gold the first chapter of a book and claims that the series is telling a"big story" which Blizzard expects it's going to get to tell for a lengthy time. To put it differently, expect Blizzard to wager on narrative more and more as the Diablo series brings and continues back an increasing number of characters.
