Not to be rude - but being a CPA doesn't necessarily make you business minded. OSRS has existed a long time so far as RuneScape gold games and applications goes - and although the customer is bad and obsolete, it is an integral part of the experience of exactly what OSRS for a lot of men and women. For lots of users, if they updated to a new client it would lose the feel and individuality of what's OSRS. Do not piss off your existing customers. OSRS has practically no control appeal for anyone who has not played RS before, and I would be lost, if they removed that which made it feel as the OG. I came back because it was just as I remembered it (mostly). When there was a client update I would be fucking missing and wouldn't feel as inclined to find out the janky system around again.

Additionally, a third party client buy-out would result in an increase of third party development that's not exactly what Jagex wants, not only because people will cheat but also for safety of its users as well as the company pride. Generally, purchasing a business because they made something better for your game than you did isn't going to impress some investor about your inner development team and leadership team. Should they require a customer, why did not leadership identify this and have you made earlier?

Not accepted offensively Camertime but I'll reply to your points. Fully admit I attempted to validate my opinion with a title I have earned. Saying something is essential since it relates to the first game that was tried to cheap OSRS gold mimic is a fantastic point. However, this version of runescape has shifted from that which 2007scape was that doesn't hold as much weight. Also, saying something is awful and dated pretty much supports you should probably consider something fresh.
