Yeah talking as somebody who played RS all growing up and bought gold a few times, it appeared awesome although maybe not that big of a deal. I loved the sport. I got straight back on cheap OSRS gold, had not played in quite a while, and got old. I purchased like 100m. It was fantastic! I really could train anything I wanted to, purchase nice gear and gear, and not need to worry about money! I'd run out of money, because I could only purchase a ton more for next to nothing but it wasn't a big deal. As entertaining as it had been for a brief time, you realize very quickly that the game really has no intention, and it especially has no purposes knowing that I could grind RS to finally make 3m and hour... or that I could work in real life for 1 hour, and buy 100+m.

You still can't match the counter-argument where they are still breaking ToS along with the businesses that are abusing it are just scum. A better option would be Jagex donating a buck or two per membership into a Venezuelan finance and assisting them that way (tax violate bb to get Jagex.)
