Everybody's hating on Bethesda's The Elder Scrolls Blades Gold, but I believe that's only because they're not the target audience or they refuse to provide The Elder Scrolls Blades a chance. Have we forgotten about Fallout Shelter? Sure, it may have been a mobile game, but it had been quite a good match for what it was attempting to accomplish. Obviously it was eventually moved to PC, but that wasn't until considerably later. Are fine with this? I hope they all have phones, since there will not be much point in having a console or PC at this rate.
They make The Elder Scrolls Bladess so grindy they can monetize approaches to get around it. This happens a lot with games console and PC, also, and it's an issue that has to be addressed. Bethesda seems intent on nose-diving into the ground as hard as it could, and it's sad to see franchises such as Elder Scrolls and Fallout fail to monetization such as this.I don't know getting so upset about loot boxes and stuff like that, even in full price games. Provided that you can get the entire experience with them, who really cares? I would be pissed if my children spent all my money on these, but as anybody who grew up in the 80's if the onslaught of 1-900 numbers emerged, that's not a new item. My parents were pretty pissed when we got ahold of this joke-line, or even the scary story number...
Wait until children from mobile era grows upward. They'll be the newest peasants dethroning the current console peasants. They'll see their favorite games console goes to cellular and get their interfaces on console. Be called as elitists for wanting 4K and control support. Only then, they will understand what PC gamers now feel like today when they are known as an elitist for ESO Boosting wanting uncapped frames, resolutions, and having better hardware is best for overall expertise.
