  • PyrOptic is a revolution in the way all the electrical connections and contacts can be managed in your plant and all over the world.It is economical and highly reliable making it suitable for mass deployment throughout electrical equipment and distribution systems. A PyrOptic system is made up strings of PyrOnodes, linked together by a continuous fiber optic loop. Each of the PyrOnodes contains a material that expands over an accurately controlled temperature range, this is captured to cut the POF and provide feedback of the developing problem. The available activation temperature ranges from 60 to 105°C. The optical loop is made using a high temperature plastic fiber optic (POF) featuring a Nylon 12 outer jacket, a material with extremely low moisture absorption and high chemical resistance.
