Using the 6% damage reduction is not possible for us. As an alternative, we can poison act bosses for clean and comfortable deaths. Rare items with life will suffice in the absence of leveling uniques.

Put in some time in the Blood Aqueducts (Act 9) to replenish your life regeneration and ensure that Death Aura's self-damage is sustained as long as possible. To use the +30 Strength nodes until you reach a higher level where you can obtain attributes for your rings, it is perfectly acceptable to do so.

MoM Trickster Build for Essence Drain and Blight

We usually use the Essence Drain play style in conjunction with Contagion buy poe orbs, and since 3. 0, we've added things like Blight to the mix as a synergy.
