This installment of the veteran sports franchise will be the first to arrive at Steam, one more part of the movement back to the Valve store.

The 'Dual Entitlement' promotion has also been announced, where buyers of the MUT 21 Coins for PS4 and Xbox One version will receive PS5 and Xbox Series X (respectively) when versions for the new consoles are released. This promotion will be active until Madden NFL 22 is released.

EA has warned, however, that the disc version cannot be updated on non-reader consoles such as Playstation 5 Digital Edition.

Madden NFL 21 will be released on August 28 on PC, PS4, and Xbox One. It will later make the leap to PS5 and Xbox Series X. The Exit of Stadia is planned for winter.

Electronic Arts has announced the release date of FIFA 21 and Madden NFL 21 on next-generation consoles.

Both sports titles will be available on Madden 21 Coins PS5 and Xbox Series X/S starting December 4. As explained, these versions will feature "improvements in loading times, the movements of the most fluid and real players in EA Sports history, a faithful setting of the stadiums and better performance in the details and lighting of the players".

In addition, PlayStation 5 will also leverage dual sense to deliver "the new touch haptic capabilities of the new DualSense controllers".

We remind you, too, that both games will have a free upgrade to the next generation (within the same family of consoles) if you're already playing it on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One. The update can be performed at any time from December 4 to the release of future FIFA 22 and Madden NFL 22.
